Christmas is a season some people in the world celebrate. It is the appointed day of the year when the Messiah was born and with it the fate of the entire human race. But what if this life is just a dream? What if this very life we're living in is a product of a perfect chemical reaction in our brain designed to create a vivid and lucid hallucination? What if this life is just a dream of our true selves out of this "consciousness"? It would mean that every trace of our memory and emotion was nothing but a figment of our unconscious imagination and subconscious desires. Everything around us would be a fraud stage play--a reflection of the world we have out of this "consciousness". This might be a vivid and lucid reflection where we could actually experience the whole thing. Some people might even call it as "alternative reality"--a backdoor for our escape from the harshness of reality. Perhaps when we die, this dream would be over and we would go back to the other reality--our true consciuosness. That would probably answer the million dollar question "Where do people go when they die?". Or perhaps, I'm probably wrong about this whole dream thing. Who knows?
