And so I descended upon the earth, wondering how my day would be. Of course, it would not be devoid of Hollows. Fat chance. If there would be a day at the place where I'm currently assigned to that would be Hollow-free, I guess that would be the time when they're all truly eradicated from existence. Which would not be happening in the next five hundred billion years.
Scowling, I perched myself on top of a tall building, overlooking the statue on the grounds below. What do the students call it? Oh, it's Oble. If I'm not mistaken, it's short for Oblation. Huh, nice name.
I crossed my arms in front of my chest, wondering when the first appearance of a Hollow would be. Just when I was getting bored of my watch, I sensed it.
Somewhere from behind me came a shrill sound--the scream of a Hollow. Grasping the hilt of my Zanpakutou, I manouvered to my left. Just in time to evade the first of the Hollow's attacks.
It was then that I realized that this one was larger and more powerful than the previous ones that I have done battle with. Frowning, I pulled out my sword. I tried to slash it, but I barely made contact with it. Darn. I have to finish this one, or else Seiretei would have to send another Shinigami to help me. I don't want that. It's time to release my Shikai.
"Kieru, Akakariudo"*
The blade of my Zanpakutou disappeared from view as I muttered my call. Suddenly, random gashes began to form on the Hollow's body. That was the ability of my Zanpakutou in its Shikai form. It attacks my enemy, without it sensing where my sword would be striking next. Pity I had to use it now.
Just as expected, the Hollow was defeated. Frowning, I resumed my post.
How boring this watch is.
* Vanish, Red hunter
* Of course, the Japanese might be wrong. Hahaha...I wrote this just for the LOLZ... ;D
